The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "If you build a Mosque, Allah will build a house for you in Paradise." Sahih Bukhari
The time has come for each of us to step forward and support the Assalam Mosque project and Ottawa Islamic Centre. The success of this project will ensure the Assalam Mosque will continue to serve the growing Muslim population in Ottawa for generations to come and for us.
The Mosque project is more than just another Mosque; it is about establishing Islam for generations to come for us.

1. The Mosque purchase agreement is complete with an initial deposit.
2. Within ten years, we have to complete the payment of $2.2 million Canadian with no interest.
3. Upon completion of the rezoning to allow establishment of a Mosque, we have to pay $450,000 as the first payment.
4. The Rezoning process was completed 23 August 2005.
